I saw these posts around today and I couldn’t resist linking up, since my purse is one thing that I have managed to regain control of in 2012. So far, no straggler receipts, or gum wrappers. {I used to be really bad. I literally have 4 year old receipts in one of my purses.} But, I kicked the clutter out of my bag this year and it makes me feel really organized for some reason. So, here is what is in my bag!
Not joking, I actually only have 10 things in my purse if you don’t count the content of my makeup bag. I am so proud of myself, it’s like kicking a habit keeping this sucker clean. I carry my wallet, reading glasses, sunnies, altoids smalls (always) hand cream, my phone, a notebook for random ideas and notes, some gum, and a pen! No random junks! No small animals! No coupons that expired 7 months ago. (don’t act like you never had that)
I, for some reason only have lip items in my makeup bag. Not the norm, I would normally have an eyeliner or a mascara at least. And I use bare minerals as foundation, so I don’t carry that with me really ever. Too messy!
Anyway, I thought I’d link up, because these little glimpse posts are some of the most fun to me. I love peaking into all of your lives! It’s like spying into peoples windows, but a lot less creepy! (what you don’t do that?)

How do you keep your makeup bag so clean? I have never heard of Revlon’s lip butter, sounds great! Now I need to go clean out my bag and put my makeup bag back in my purse. It’s been missing for months. Always trying to hide it from my girls who get into it every time I leave it out.

Lip butter is glorious! So many pretty shades. And I try to keep anything powdery out of my makeup bag, that’s the number one culprit!
I have a major purse problem. I’ve got the crumpled up tampons, 4 year old receipts, and expired coupons for sure. I’m a little jealous at how organized you are.
It really made me feel amazing to get just this one little area under control! My purses used to look like a recycling bin!
Crumpled tampon! hahahahahahahahaha. I have like 80 of those in each purse where they’ve wiggled out of the wrappers and the cotton has popped out to render them completely useless. And the receipt thing?? IT’S SO BAD. If I did one of these posts, I would seriously have to buy a new, clean purse, clean off all the dust and other debris from my stuff and THEN take a photo. Yours looks so tidy! And I love the Jouer gloss and DUH, the Lip Butter. Tutti Frutti? Candy Apple? Oh gosh, I just have to end this out of control comment now.

Those are some great lip options. I’m a huge fan of Lorac. I hear ya, mine would have crumpled receipts, tampons, random half eaten breakfast bars… It’s bad
