I shared this yummy face mask recipe over at Chasing Our Sunshine last week, and today I thought I’d share it here, too!
For this recipe, you need to grind that oatmeal up! I used a coffee grinder and that worked great, but a blender or food processor would be fine, too. You also want real oats, not instant.
To start just mash the banana up with a fork until it’s the consistency of say, rice pudding, and then add in the honey and sweet almond oil. You can open the vitamin E capsules with a sharp knife or a needle and just squeeze the oil right in. Then, just add the oatmeal in a tablespoon at a time and mix until everything is combined!
This mask is awesome. After it dries on your face, add in lukewarm water and use circular scrubbing motions to remove it from your face. It will crumble away and you can just splash off the rest! It’s a great exfoliator and smoother.

Ok I have a dumb question…where do I get Vitamin E capsules?
Lol, not dumb! I emailed ya, but they are in the vitamin aisle of most stores that would carry vitamins. Which you probably knew, which is why you thought it was dumb.
here’s the problem….i’d probably confuse this with my breakfast!
