Feeling a little hot and icky lately? This mask is super refreshing, I have to say. Whip this up and you just might wish you had some extra with a straw on ice.
I took a small seedless cucumber, peeled and chunked it, then threw it into the food processor. I planned on hand mashing the strawberries for a chunkier consistency, but I ended up just tossing 4 right in with the cucumber. (washed first!)
Then once it was nice and smooth I stirred in the insides of 2 vitamin e caps and added 2 tbs of honey to thicken it a bit and give it more staying power once it was on my face. I applied a layer to my muggins and waited 15 minutes and rinsed. All shiny, refreshed and tight, along with a sweet smell. The cucumber is cooling and cleansing while the strawberries’ salicylic acid helps you shed dead skin cells and brighten the skin. Plus, give it a little rub before rinsing for extra exfoliation. Strawberries are also loaded with vitamin C and contain fatty acids. All kinds of good stuff in this fun summer mask! (PLUS it gives you some kissable cheekers, for sure!)
Hope you enjoy this one!
